A native of Florida’s west coast beaches, Jerry attributes growing up next to the splendor of the beach a major contribution to his eye for simplistic beauty. Jerry first developed his love for photography at his high schools programs, learning the basics and entering his first contests. He was accepted in 1984 to one of Florida’s top rated commercial photography colleges. After an intensive two-year program at DBCC, Jerry returned home to complete an internship with well established and respected photographer Richard Riley. While working on the internship, Jerry fine-tuned his techniques and learned all aspects of the photographic industry. Upon completion, Jerry set out on his own fourteen years ago in order to produce fine portraits, commercial productions and freelance photojournalism in the Tampa Bay area.
